LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS journey to develop a sustainable vacation culture

LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS has 22 properties in South Korea. This does not include the 10 properties located in Seoul,
Jeju is the best place to experience LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS since there are four properties there: LOTTE HOTEL JEJU, LOTTE City Hotel Jeju, LOTTE RESORT Art Villas, and LOTTE SKYHILL CC JEJU.

LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS has initiated various sustainability efforts, beginning with the signing of an MOU with the Jeju Tourism Organization and the social enterprise JeClean Co., Ltd. in August 2023,
as we aim to promote a vacation culture that coexists with the community while preserving the beautiful nature of Jeju.

In August 2023, LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS signed an MOU with the Jeju Tourism Organization to develop an eco-friendly vacation culture and joined the “Eco-friendly Vacation Pledge” for tourists.
From September to December, the company launched a series of exhibits to promote its eco-friendly management practices and to cater to customers' growing interest in the environment.

Around the same time, LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS signed an MOU with the local social enterprise JeClean Co., Ltd.,
and collected old linens from Jeju to help establish a recycling system for upcycling waste materials into tote bags, plogging pouches, and socks.

| Re:Think Journey Plogging&Concert

In October 2023, we hosted a plogging event on the Olle Trail alongside Ha Hyun Woo of Guckkasten, who is known for his love of nature and interest in revitalizing local culture.
Later that evening, we hosted a Re:Think Concert featuring Ha Hyun Woo and talented young musicians from Jeju, this event was etched in the memories of all the guests and the local musicians.

LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS remains dedicated to creating positive journeys, both for the environment and the local community.

LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS sustainable vacation culture project that started in the summer of August 2023 was concluded at the Re:Think Journey Live Together end-of-year event in December.

Thanks to all the efforts of the campaign in November, local Jeju staff members collaborated and donated to the Korean Red Cross.
At the Live Together end-of-year event, we held a concert featuring the Jeju With Us Wind Orchestra, which brought musicians both with and without disabilities together for the first time in Jeju.
Donations to support art activities for the disabled were also contributed to the Korean Red Cross.

LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS has held a series of pop-up exhibits as part of “LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS Sustainable Journey” at LOTTE HOTEL JEJU in September 2023, at LOTTE City Hotel Jeju in October, Art Villas in December, and LOTTE SKYHILL CC JEJU in January 2024.

The exhibits showcase a variety of items provided to hotel guests, including walnut room keys, large-volume amenities, and unlabeled water bottles, as well as hanbok, garbage cans, and tissue cases made from recycled linens.
They also highlight the LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS commitment to environmental management through the use of renewable energy and donation packages offered during trips.

* The exhibit booth was constructed using corrugated paper, making installation and takedown easy, and is designed to be recyclable.

ESG ReThink

LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS is committed to addressing environmental concerns and actively working towards improvements to create a vacation culture that protects the environment and benefits society. However, the efforts of one company alone are not enough to address every issue, so we are inviting everyone to join us in these efforts.

Wouldn’t you agree that a group of people who do a little at a time could bring about greater change than a select few who aim for perfection? Re:Think with LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS aims to promote a sustainable vacation culture!
Please join the Re:Think campaign, where we encourage you to reconsider our environment, society, and neighbors!
