"Eva Armisén, the Painter who Paints Happiness" is the world’s largest exhibition by world famous Spanish painter Eva Armisén that has over 150 collections of artwork ranging from her early day oil paintings, engravings, drawings, and large scale objets to recent Seoul-themed pieces. The exhibition, under the “home” motif, consists of 8 rooms filled with the artist’s delightful and lovely paintings of everyday life.

This exhibition is significant not only as the largest exhibition but also for the unveiling of the artist’s latest work with the theme of Seoul created in commemoration of the exhibition opening in Korea. The newly unveiled pieces depicting Seoul’s scenery, food, buildings, and people as seen by the artist from her numerous visits to the city have been interpreted in her own way in the lovely paintings. Finding “Seoul” in the paintings of everyday life of Seoul gives the audience fun and delight. Moreover, she introduces the story of Jeju island's haenyeo - UNESCO world heritage divers of Jeju island - through original pieces and videos inspired by her time spent with them.
