방사탑은 제주도 전역에서 볼 수 있는 돌을 쌓아 올린 원뿔 모양의 탑으로 제주도 민속문화재입니다.
‘재앙을 막아달라’는 간절한 기원을 담아 마을 사람들이 힘을 모아 공동으로 세운 조형물로 거욱대, 거왁이라고도 불렸습니다.
