minä perhonen is a textile design brand weaving special memories of everyday life into the fabric of fairytales. The brand’s special exhibition, minä perhonen Design Journey: The Circle of Memory, will be held at DDP.
The exhibition shows how small but lovely moments of everyday life including clouds floating over fields, sprouts growing from underground, and sounds coming from the beaches are captured in memory, integrated into designs and woven in fabric. The works on display speak volumes of the underlying philosophy of Akira Minagawa, the brand’s founder who cherishes people and memory. We hope you discover the beauty of textile design as you join the minä perhonen design journey, a feast of fabulous fabric.
